Bernina Norton, Principal

Chad Adams Bernina L. Norton, Principal of Chicago Talent in its second year of growth, has over 16 years of experience in education. Educating children at the elementary and high school levels, she has served as a teacher/mentor, Department Chair, parent trainer, and Schoolwide Facilitator. Ms. Norton has spent the last 7 years in school administration as an assistant principal of two small high schools, founding one of them on the Westside of Chicago. Ms. Norton has a special interest in teacher professional development, school improvement planning and youth empowerment. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Aurora University and two masters degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Loyola University. Prior to entering the educational field, Ms. Norton worked as an Analytical Chemist for Waste Management, Inc.

Talha Yousuf, Technology Coordinator

Michelle Reed Talha Yousuf received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He is the Technology Coordinator at Chicago Talent Development Charter High School. For the past few years, he has worked in different school environment assisting them in their technology needs. He recently received his CompTIA certificate in Network +. Talha expertise are but not limited to Windows Servers, Mac Servers, Databases, Web Applications and VMware Virtual Servers.
